About KAA 3

Located on the highest point of KAA's 240 acres, KAA 3 boasts spectacular high adventure activities where campers supercharge their thrill meter and sharpen their sports skills in concentrated specialty sports like football, basketball, mountain biking, volleyball and many others.  KAA 3 offers a foundational training ground for spiritual growth, as well as Covenant Family training—what God’s intended model of a family looks and functions like. The purpose is to build a solid foundation in each young believer's faith, while also imparting the truth of the Gospel to those who have not been introduced to the Savior.

Directors

John Scott IVLead Director

John Scott, IV, is the KAA 3 Men’s Director and the KAA Campus Rep Coordinator. He began working for KAA in 2012 as a counselor and transitioned to full-time staff in 2014 as the Campus Rep Coordinator. John received his BS in pre-physical therapy/health sciences from Florida A&M and is a 2014 graduate of the Kanakuk Institute. He and his wife, Keaudrea, have one daughter, Haven Noel.

Shanel BoddenWomen's Director

Shanel began serving as the KAA 3 Women’s Director in September 2016. Prior to that, she workedon KAA summer staff as the Assistant Women’s Director for two years. Shanel has a heart for servingyouth through athletics. She received her BS in athletic training from Florida State University and is acertified athletic trainer. Shanel will soon complete her graduate studies in physicaleducation/teacher education at Auburn University.
