Kids Across America endeavors to identify campers currently in fifth through eighth grade that display leadership qualities. Such students will be selected by their Kaleos to participate in the Kids Across America Ambassadors Program, a three-year Bible study enrichment program that prepares students to serve as present and future leaders in their schools, family, community, and church.
The Ambassador Program seeks students who desire to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and want to learn how to become an influencer for Christ in their schools, churches, families, and community. They must demonstrate the following characteristics:
I'm Third Principle (Jesus first, others second, yourself third)
Helpful and willing to serve others
Desire to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ
The Role of a Mentor
Mentors are critical in the student’s completion of the program. One mentor is requested for each nominee, although multiple students are allowed if enough adult volunteers are not available to facilitate that ratio. The mentor and their mentee should meet at least once every two weeks. The mentor must grade each lesson and then turn in the results using the link that will be provided.
